Chocolate Lab classes starting at 11:30 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and can be purchased at The Hershey Story Admissions Desk the day of your visit. Space is limited. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab.

Chocolate Bird Nests
Celebrate spring by making your own, edible chocolate bird nest complete with eggs!  Learn how “cacao” begins its journey from the rain forest to decadent white, milk and dark chocolate varieties.  This class is educational and uniquely fun.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, mini pretzel sticks, Cadburry chocolate mini eggs.

1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
Spring Bar
Mold a scrumptious milk chocolate bar and turn it into a colorful spring treat with unique and completely edible Easter-themed decals.  Learn how cocoa beans are grown, harvested and processed into your favorite kinds of chocolate.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, Easter themed sprinkles

 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.
Planet Chocolate
Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown. You will be guided to recognize differences in cocoa beans’ appearance and taste and make your own unique bar to take home.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, crushed red pepper, cinnamon
