Come experience Hershey history through the eyes of youth from our own community! The Hershey Story Museum will participate in Youth Takeover Day on Saturday, June 27 – an annual national event that highlights young voices, ideas and leadership within museum spaces.

On Saturday, June 27, engage in hands-on activities and explore our Museum Experience from a new viewpoint. Discover local history anew, featuring unique perspectives and reflections written by local youth. Explore projects in our lobby from our youth volunteers about their time as guest curators for The Hershey Story.

Also, experience hands-on activities to find out what it’s like to be one of our youth volunteers. From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. shadow our Past Masters to explore what it takes to be a young volunteer at the Museum!

Join us for this unique opportunity to connect with young community members while also learning the sweet history of Hershey!
