Come be a part of history while hanging out with other young people from your community! Youth ages 11-18 can join us for our Civic Season Kickoff Party on Saturday June 20 from 3 – 5 p.m.

Civic Season runs from June 19 to July 4 and is a national event focusing on youth involvement in history and civic responsibility. This season also coincides with the 250th celebration of our nation’s founding this summer.

Celebrate these milestones with us by decorating your own canvas magnet with a positive message for the future. Weather permitting, this activity will take place outside so be sure to bring a towel or blanket to lay out on. These magnets with your messages will be hung throughout the Museum during other events over the summer for the community to see. Afterwards, enjoy snacks and play a game of historical Jeopardy for prizes. Be a part of this national celebration while connecting with Museum staff and other people like you!
