Saturdays, November 7 & 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Families, come visit our new special exhibit, “From Story to Screen: The Making of the HERSHEY Movie” and then discover the innovations that created the first moving pictures and amazed people of all ages! Make your own thaumatrope to learn how early animation stemmed from optical illusions, spin the zoetrope to see how animation and film began to progress, and create sound effects to find out what it’s like to be a Foley artist. You can even watch clips of early motion pictures to experience what Hershey looked like over 100 years ago!

Activities are included with admission; free for members. Located in the lower-level classroom.
