Chocolate Lab classes starting at 11:30 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the class. Space is limited. Children must be at least 4 years old to enter the Lab.

Chocolate by Design
What makes dark chocolate dark and white chocolate white? This class answers those questions and offers a close look at a real cocoa pod and cocoa beans. You’ll taste raw chocolate and after getting the inside scoop on what makes chocolate so tasty, create abstract and completely edible “art” using milk, white and dark chocolate products.
1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
Be a Chocolate Worker
Learn how Hershey’s Chocolate factory workers did their jobs in the early 1900s. You’ll make a unique chocolate creation to take home and hear about the miraculous chocolate-making process from rainforest to factory.
2:30 to 3:15 p.m.
Planet Chocolate
Learn about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown and how to recognize differences in “cacao” based on geographical origin. You’ll have an exclusive opportunity to taste and compare chocolates made with cocoa beans sourced from specific regions. Each participant makes a unique milk chocolate bar to take home.
