Chocolate Lab Classes beginning at 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Classes are 45 minutes long. Please note that, depending on seats availability, more than one family could be seated at the same table and big groups may be split. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult. The Lab schedule, and ingredients used in each class are subject to last minute changes. No foods or beverages will be permitted in the Lab. Only service animals will be allowed in the classroom.

Art of Chocolate
Whether it’s milk, white or dark, making chocolate is a work of art. Learn the origin of chocolate and what are the ingredients used in each of its varieties. While getting the inside scoop on what makes chocolate so tasty, you will create your own “artwork” using three types of chocolates.
Ingredients: melted milk and white chocolate, dark chocolate chips.

Chocolate Medallions
Milton Hershey developed his unique formula using a hand-selected blend of cocoa beans. Discover where this fruit comes from, and how it is harvested and processed to become the chocolate we all love. Choose from a variety of ingredients and design your own flavorful chocolate treat.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, a variety of toppings including seasonal sprinkles, cocoa nibs, mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, etc.
2:30pm to 3:15pm
Planet Chocolate
Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown. You will be guided to recognize differences in cocoa beans’ appearance and taste. You will also make your own unique bar to take home!
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, crushed red pepper, cinnamon
