Chocolate Lab classes starting at 10:15 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the class. Space is limited. Children must be at least 4 years old to enter the Lab.

10:15 to 11:00 a.m.
Heart of Chocolate
Follow in Milton Hershey’s footsteps as you design your own heart-shaped milk chocolate confection. Choose ingredients to add based on flavor, appearance and personal preference. Learn how chocolate is grown and processed. This class is suitable for adults and families with children ages 4 and up.

11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Try it with Truffles
In his first business, Milton Hershey sold hand-made confections in dazzling variety. Try your hand at creating your own, hand-made truffles in this class. Hand-roll dark chocolate ganache, dip in chocolate and customize with a selection of toppings. This class is suitable for adults and families with children ages 4 and up.

12:45 to 1:30 p.m.
Make a Berry Bar
Mold and customize your own milk chocolate bar using dried strawberries and other edible decorations. Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown and how they are processed to become the chocolate we all love.

2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
