Celebrate Mother’s day in the Chocolate Lab!  Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Due to COVID-19 regulations, only one family per table will be allowed. Masks are required inside the classroom. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Art of Chocolate
Learn the origin of chocolate and what are the ingredients used in each of its varieties. While getting the inside scoop on what makes chocolate so tasty,  you will create a delicious flower themed “artwork” for Mom.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, Hershey’s Robin Eggs, pretzels, sprinkles.

12:15 to 1:00 p.m.
Chocolate Medallions
Celebrate the sweetest lady in your life, by creating  a Mom-themed medallions trio.  Discover where cacao comes from, and how is harvested and processed to become the chocolate we all love.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, white chocolate MOM shaped letters, sprinkles.

2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
Happy Mother’s Day Bar
Mold a scrumptious milk chocolate bar and turn it into a delightful treat with edible Mother’s Day decals and sprinkles. Learn the role of Mr. Hershey’s mother, Fanny, in his success as an entrepreneur, and discover the mystery behind the chocolate we all love.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, sprinkles, sugar transfers.

3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
S’mores Galore
Have some summer fun as you make your own, sweet variation on S’mores (without the fire, of course).  Learn the origins of this campfire confection and some Hershey’s trivia. You’ll also learn about chocolate from tree to graham cracker.

Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, mini marshmallows, crushed graham crackers.
