Chocolate Lab classes starting at 10:45 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Due to COVID-19 regulations, only one family per table will be allowed. Masks are required inside the classroom. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
10:45 to 11:30 a.m.
S’mores Galore
Have some summer fun as you make your own, sweet variation on S’mores (without the fire, of course). Learn the origins of this campfire confection and some Hershey’s trivia. You’ll also learn about chocolate from tree to graham cracker.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, mini marshmallows, crushed graham crackers.
12:15 to 1:00 p.m.
Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bars
Mold a milk chocolate bar and top it off with red, white and blue candy sprinkles to create your own, edible American flag. Find out where and how cocoa beans are grown and processed into your favorite chocolate confections.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, colored sprinkles
2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
Planet Chocolate
Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown. You will be guided to recognize differences in cocoa beans’ appearance and taste and make your own unique bar to take home.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, crushed red pepper, cinnamon
3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bars
Mold a milk chocolate bar and top it off with red, white and blue candy sprinkles to create your own, edible American flag. Find out where and how cocoa beans are grown and processed into your favorite chocolate confections.
