Celebrate Mr. Hershey’s Birthday in the Chocolate Lab! Classes starting at 11:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Celebrate Milton S. Hershey’s birthday by making your own, rich Chocolate-Caramel Truffles.  We created an original and decadent truffle recipe in honor of the confectionery magnate’s success in building, not only a huge chocolate industry, but caramel business, as well.  Learn the history behind the chocolate that inspired Milton’s success.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks are required inside the classroom. Please note that, depending on seats availability, more than one family could be seated at the same table. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Celebration Truffles
Try your hand at creating your own, hand-made truffles in this class. Hand-roll our special caramel and chocolate ganache,  and customize with a selection of toppings. This class is most suitable for adults.

Ingredients: Caramel-chocolate ganache (heavy cream, Hershey’s milk chocolate chips, Hershey’s caramel syrup, butter, cinnamon, and salt) variety of toppings including: colored sprinkles, sea salt, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon.

2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
