Easter themed Chocolate Lab classes starting at 11:30 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Due to COVID-19 regulations, only one family per table will be allowed. Masks are required inside the classroom. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Chocolate Bird Nests
Celebrate spring by making your own, edible chocolate bird nest complete with eggs! Learn how “cacao” begins its journey from the rainforest to decadent white, milk and dark chocolate varieties. This class is educational and uniquely fun.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, mini pretzel sticks, chocolate mini eggs.

1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
Egg-citing Chocolate Bark
Layer milk and white chocolate, Hershey’s mini eggs and other edible decorations, to create your own delicious bark. Satisfy your curiosity about the chocolate-making process through live narrative and colorful slides.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, white chocolate chips, chocolate mini eggs, pretzels, sprinkles.

2:30 to 3:15 p.m.
Spring Bar
Mold a scrumptious milk chocolate bar and turn it into a colorful spring treat with unique and completely edible Easter-themed decals. Learn how cocoa beans are grown, harvested and processed into your favorite kinds of chocolate.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, Easter themed sprinkles.
