Holiday themed Chocolate Lab classes starting at 10:00 a.m.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first come – first served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit. Due to COVID-19 regulations, staff is required to wear masks at all times. Please note that, depending on seats availability, more than one family could be seated at the same table and big groups may be split. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult. The  schedule of classes and the ingredients used in each class are subject to last minute changes.

10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Candy Cane Bark
Layer melted milk chocolate with chunks of peppermint candy and white chocolate chips to create your own, fresh candy cane bark. Satisfy your curiosity about the chocolate-making process through live narrative and colorful slides.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, candy cane bites, white chocolate chips.

11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Chocolate and Pretzels Christmas Wreath
Create a fun and delicious Christmas Wreath by using chocolate covered mini pretzels and festive sprinkles. Discover how cocoa beans make their way from the rainforest to the sweet confections in your holiday stocking.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, mini pretzels, Holiday themed sprinkles

12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Make a Very Merry Bar
Mold and customize your own milk chocolate bar using holiday add-ins and edible decorations Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown and how they are processed to become the chocolate we all love.
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, Holiday themed sprinkles

1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Candy Cane Bark

3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Marshmallow Mischief
Dunk giant marshmallows in melted chocolate, then roll in holiday toppings. Finish by packaging your custom marshmallow treat in a holiday package to take home. You’ll also learn some little-known facts about marshmallows and chocolate!
Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, Jumbo marshmallow, variety of toppings including candy cane bits, and Holiday themed sprinkles

4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
