Wednesday March 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Students can explore the museum exhibits with a sweet scavenger hunt, then participate in a Chocolate Lab class where they’ll make a chocolate bar and learn how the Maya prepared and consumed their cacao nibs. Plus, students can explore other Mayan activities and write their names using hieroglyphs.
The program lasts approximately 1 ½ hours. Please arrive between 9 and 11:30 a.m. to ensure you receive a timed Chocolate Lab ticket.
Online registration is required. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
$10 per student /$10 for accompanying adults
All guests, including adults, require a ticket.
Children 2 years and under are free.
This program is recommended for ages 4 and up.
