  • Truffles For Couples starting at 7:45pm

    Join us for Truffles For Couples!
    Friday, February 14 & Saturday, February 15

    Session One: 5:45 to 7:00 p.m.
    Session Two: 7:45 to 9:00 p.m.

    Bring your favorite Valentine for an evening of decadence and fun! Begin the experience tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolates from around the world. Then participate in a special one-hour Chocolate Lab class where guests can hand-roll traditional dark chocolate ganache, coat them in milk or white chocolate, then finish with a sweet array of toppings.

    Each guest will package their truffles in a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and a long-stemmed red rose to take home. Participants will also learn about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as how chocolate is grown and processed.

    This class is most suitable for adults. Please note that up to two couples will be assigned to the same table. Space is limited to 24 participants per session.

    Cost is $65 per couple. Tickets can be purchased here, starting on January 6th.

    Tickets are non-refundable. In the case of weather-related cancellations, the event will be rescheduled.

Classes are 45 minutes long.  Please note that, depending on seats availability, more than one family could be seated at the same table and big groups may be split. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult. The Lab schedule, and ingredients used in each class are subject to last minute changes. No foods or beverages will be permitted in the Lab.     Try it with Truffles

    In his first business, Milton Hershey sold hand-made confections in dazzling variety. Try your hand at creating your own, hand-made truffles in this class. Hand-roll dark chocolate ganache, dip in chocolate and customize with a selection of toppings. This class is most suitable for adults.

    Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, dark chocolate ganache (heavy cream, dark chocolate chips, unsalted butter, and cinnamon) variety of toppings including: colored sprinkles, sea salt, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon.

    Celebrate March and make chocolate bark that’s sure to make you feel luckier! While learning all about the origins and production of chocolate, you’ll use our selection of specialty toppings to make a treat that will have everyone else green with envy.

    Ingredients: Melted milk chocolate, honey candy, powdered matcha mix, shamrock sprinkles.

    Learn some delicious geography by finding out more about the many places around the globe where cocoa beans are grown. You will be guided to recognize differences in cocoa beans’ appearance and taste. You will also make your own unique bar to take home!

    2:30pm to 3:15pm
    Chocolate Medallions

    Milton Hershey developed his unique formula using a hand-selected blend of cocoa beans. Discover where this fruit comes from, and how it is harvested and processed to become the chocolate we all love. Choose from a variety of ingredients and design your own flavorful chocolate treat.

    Ingredients: melted milk chocolate, a variety of toppings including seasonal sprinkles, cocoa nibs, mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, etc.
